Firefly Wedding Vol. 1

In Meiji-era Japan, at the turn of the 19th and 20th centuries, young Satoko is a maiden of beauty with a substantial inheritance to protect, determined to marry a nobleman for the good of her family. Before she can achieve her goal, however, she is targeted by a mysterious assassin, Shinpei. In a desperate attempt to save her life, Satoko surprises her potential executioner by asking him to marry her. Her proposal is not sincere but, unfortunately for her, it is accepted. It will not be easy now for Satoko to find a way to break off the engagement without losing her life, because Shinpei, when it comes to love, takes the vow "till death do us part" very seriously!
